Shelby

Shelby is a recent graduate who received her Masters in Athletic Training degree from the University of Arkansas. During her time in Arkansas, she provided medical coverage and athletic training services for several local high schools, out-patient orthopedics offices, and Arkansas' Track & Field, Softball, and Football programs in addition to her studies. Throughout her studies, she enjoyed learning the demands and biomechanics required of each sport she worked with because this helped her better understand the rehabilitative and functional needs of her patients throughout their return to sport process. Shelby also interned with the University of Arizona's Football team, where she worked with athletes during pre-participation screenings, providing medical coverage, and first learned how to use the FMS/SFMA testing protocols.

Shelby is also a graduate from the University of Washington, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology. She first learned about the profession of Athletic Training during a three year internship with the Sports Medicine team at UW. As an intern, she worked with UW's Soccer, Basketball, Softball, Track & Field, and Football teams from 2015-2018. During this time, Shelby also worked as a Physical Therapy Aide in the Seattle area. Shelby enjoys working with patients of all athletic levels and abilities and believes in treating the patient as whole in order to help them live an active lifestyle.

Shelby returned to her hometown of Issaquah, WA in May of 2020. In her spare time she enjoys going on runs/hikes with her Australian Shepherd Griffey, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on the local sports teams.

Brooke

Brooke has been with the IFC Family since January of 2021. She is a recent graduate of Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles with a degree in Biology and Environmental Studies. There, she competed on the swim team and spent much of her time in the water or on the beach. Now, Brooke is back living in the Pacific Northwest where she enjoys hiking, backpacking, sailing, while also privately instructing swim lessons for people of all ages. Brooke's background in swimming has given her an appreciation for floatation therapy and its benefits here at IFC. She believes this contributes to the holistic success and well-being of our patients!

Tasha

Tasha has been with the IFC family since August 2021. Although Tasha has enjoyed traveling and living overseas for several years, she is happy to be living, learning and working in her hometown of Issaquah again. She majored in Japanese language at UW and lived in Tokyo for more than four years. After that, she joined the Peace Corps as an English education specialist in Tigray for nearly two years until the pandemic hit and was evacuated back to the US. Now she is studying for her MA in school counseling while enjoying time with her husband, family and dog. When she is not studying or working, Tasha also enjoys doing puzzles, drawing, playing with her dog, hanging out with friends and going snowboarding or dancing. Since her husband is new to the US, she also enjoys introducing him to different and weird aspects of American life. Always seeking to self-improve and connect with others, Tasha is incredibly grateful to Issaquah Family Chiropractic's well-rounded approach to sustaining a positive and healthy environment for both patients and employees!
