Our Response To COVID-19

To Our Patients,

As more guidelines and mandates are proclaimed by local, state and federal agencies, we wanted to update you on the ways we are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. Circumstances surrounding the spread of the virus are dynamic, and we are planning for how to respond to various situations should they arise.

We are not aware of any active cases of coronavirus among staff, their families or the patients of Issaquah Family Chiropractic. However, there are things we are doing to help employees and patients stay healthy and resilient as the situation evolves:

· In adherence with the emergency proclamation announced by Gov. Jay Inslee, we have designated an officer to set and implement social distancing and sanitation measures established by the CDC and WA Dept. of Health guidelines.

· We are asking all patients not to congregate at the front desk. Please adhere to the 6′ social distancing guidelines released by the CDC. This may mean exiting the building after treatment and calling to schedule follow up appointments.

· Beginning on Tuesday, all patients will be pre-screened by phone call the day before their appointment. Anyone who is deemed at risk, is exhibiting flu-like symptoms or is living in contact with a sick individual, will be asked to reschedule their appointment.

· If you arrive early for your appointment, please wait in your car until your appointment time.

· In addition to cleaning and sanitizing our environment between every patient encounter using 60%+ alcohol based cleaners, we are increasing the protocol. Our staff is regularly disinfecting any surface that comes in contact with patients, using hospital grade cleaners and our doctors are wearing exam gloves for every patient service.

· We will not be offering flotation therapy or functional training until Gov. Inslee lifts the ban on non-essential services. However, we will continue to offer chiropractic and massage as allowed by the social distancing summary. We feel it is our responsibility to continue to offer services that can serve our patients and lessen the strain on our already strained medical system by helping to keep those with musculoskeletal issues out of emergency rooms, urgent care facilities and medical doctors offices.

Please monitor your health and the health of your family closely. If you or family members show any signs of the symptoms associated with the novel coronavirus or if fever is present, please contact our office before arriving for a scheduled appointment. If you are experiencing shortness of breath or otherwise suspect you might have novel coronavirus, please call your General Practitioner and ask for directions. In addition, the Washington State DOH has established a call center to address questions from the public. If you have questions about what is happening in Washington state, how the virus is spread, and what to do if you have symptoms, please call 1-800-525-0127 and press #. This will connect you immediately to an actual person that can offer assistance.

Should our office need to cease operations for any reason during this pandemic, you will promptly be informed.

Thank you!

Dr. Carrie and Adam Babcox
